Powerlink is actively seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to enhance our Foodservice Operations team.

As a prominent provider of Healthcare Integrated Services, Powerlink caters to Long-Term Care and Senior Living Facilities across the United States.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional solutions in Food and Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Institutional Laundry Services, and Facility Maintenance.


Position Overview

The Culinary Specialist operates under the guidance of the Culinary Manager and Dietary Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in food preparation, production oversight, inventory management, kitchen safety, sanitation practices, equipment handling, and cleaning protocols. A strong understanding of food safety, recipe compliance, therapeutic diets, and modified food textures is essential.

The role includes assisting management with procurement and receiving tasks as needed. The Culinary Specialist is responsible for upholding a clean and safe work environment while providing support to dietary aides when required.



Essential Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED.

- A minimum of two (2) years of culinary experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting.

- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English for effective communication.

- Availability to work weekends and holidays with flexible scheduling.

- Knowledge of diverse cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

- Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Capability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.

Preferred Qualifications

- Current ServSafe certification or Food Handler certification.
