About the Position

The Department of Surgery at the University of Missouri School of Medicine/MUHC is seeking a highly skilled surgical oncologist with a specific interest in breast cancer to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Surgical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in growing our program and contributing to the advancement of breast cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and treatment for breast cancer patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of breast cancer treatment protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and surgical residents
  • Engage in research and academic activities to advance the field of breast cancer treatment
Requirements
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery
  • Completion of a breast oncology or surgical oncology fellowship
  • Additional interest in skin/soft tissue cancer management
  • Demonstrated qualifications of teaching with a strong emphasis on teaching medical students and surgical residents
