We are currently seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a prominent client that specializes in advanced technology solutions for the metals production sector.
In this role, you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of industrial machinery, as well as the maintenance of plant facilities.
A comprehensive benefits package is available from the first day of employment.
Shift:
1st Shift: 7am – 5:00pm
Compensation:
$23-31/hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment, as well as in plant or office environments.
• Perform testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machines and equipment.
• Carry out routine, periodic, or special inspections to identify necessary repair and maintenance work to avert breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Utilize blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Engage in multiple maintenance trades, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical work, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
• Operate hand and power tools effectively.
• Crane/Forklift training provided in-house for certification.
• Additional tasks may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Proficient in the use of a wide range of hand and power tools, as well as testing and troubleshooting equipment.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Knowledge of proper safety equipment usage, including safety boots, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and other general hand tools.
