Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction lifecycle, from project planning to completion. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion and within budget.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to coordinate project specifications and details.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure profitable agreements.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses from regulatory authorities.
- Determine required resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, and allocate them accordingly.
- Plan and coordinate all construction operations, including scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct regular project site visits to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Evaluate project progress and prepare detailed reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and report any issues.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
- Utilize scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
- Coordinate all RFI's and supplementary instructions for construction and ensure all affected parties are updated with the latest drawing details and selections.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in project management and/or construction management, with a focus on multifamily residential new building construction.
- Knowledge of current building codes and ADA laws.
- Experience with site construction, precast, wood framing, and interior finishes.
- Demonstrated understanding of multifamily construction means and methods.
- Experience in alternative building methods and value engineering.
- Ability to work independently, leading a small team, and overseeing the entire construction lifecycle.
- Review all construction documentation, owner building standards, and finish schedules to create scopes for bidding.
- Experience with typical construction cost estimating and budgeting.
- Ability to negotiate, draft, and execute subcontract agreements and commitments for all phases of construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Project scheduling.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, with varying workdays according to staffing and property needs.
- Entrepreneurial ownership mindset, with a focus on business acumen, client satisfaction, and team collaboration.

- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines.
