Job Summary

The CDL Driver is a critical role within our organization, responsible for transporting materials and equipment to and from well-site locations across multiple states. This position requires a high level of efficiency and attention to detail, with a focus on optimizing our operations and achieving daily and weekly delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive trucks to and from designated destinations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
  • Verify loads and maintain accurate records of duty status, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, submitting written reports on the condition of the truck.
  • Operate equipment in various weather conditions, including heavy traffic and inclement weather.
  • Unload materials and equipment from trucks, utilizing forklifts as necessary.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and highway safety hazards, as well as delays due to breakdowns or other emergencies.
  • Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's record of duty status and mileage records.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of commercial driving experience, preferred.
  • One to two years of commercial driving experience and certification from an accredited commercial driving school.
  • One year or more of experience operating a forklift.
  • Possess and maintain a valid CDL, Class A license.
  • Experience hauling oversize and overweight loads, operating oilfield winch trucks and trailers.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, pull, lift, carry, and push equipment/tools weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to read and write English language.
  • Knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems, DOT regulations, inspection, and maintenance practices.
  • Meet medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
  • Satisfactorily pass a drug test and alcohol test as required by DOT regulation.
  • High school diploma or GED, required.
