Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our manufacturing facility in Joliet, IL. This role involves assisting with quality-related activities, including sampling and inspection of finished products, customer complaints, product investigations, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA). Product families include cannabis flower, oil, and infused products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and experience working within a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform finished product sampling and inspection.
  • Conduct equipment and product line clearances before production runs.
  • Write customer complaints and product investigations, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Review in-process batch documentation for real-time compliance to product specifications.
  • Audit batch records and monitor compliance to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Safe Food Quality (SQF) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with operational functions to troubleshoot manufacturing defects and implement process improvements.
