Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our fire fabrication shop in Youngstown, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating pipe for fire protection systems by cutting, threading, and weld checking each pipe, and then bundling pipe for each job.

Key Responsibilities:
Use various machinery to fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions
Study and interpret assembly instructions to ensure accuracy
Listen to directions from supervisors to ensure understanding of tasks
Read parts lists and determine if all parts are present to prevent errors
Assemble tools, materials, and various components to complete tasks
Interpret measurements to ensure accuracy in fabrication
Verify specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards
Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly to prevent defects
Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime
Maintain a clean and safe working environment to ensure employee well-being
Report errors in production to management for prompt resolution

Requirements:
Read a tape measure down to a 1⁄4"
Be dependable and have good attendance to meet project deadlines
Possess a good work ethic and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
Communicate ideas, thoughts, and instructions effectively both verbally and in written form
Work Saturday shifts as required, with attendance counted against your record if missed
Be at least 18 years old to meet minimum age requirements
Possess attention to detail and ability to follow directions and communicate with others
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8-12 hour shifts
Pass a drug test to ensure a safe working environment
