Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Channel Sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance initiatives to improve decision-making, sales performance, and business planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance strategy for U.S. Channel Sales
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data governance, including internal IT teams, engineers, data analysts, and business operations
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems
  • Implement, document, and enforce data governance policies and procedures
  • Ensure data practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal privacy and security policies
  • Streamline data processes and workflows for efficiency
  • Continually assess data integrity, addressing any issues that arise and using a continuous improvement approach to reduce issues in future
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in data operations, governance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL, DAMA-DMBoK, COBIT frameworks, and data governance tools such as Collibra and Informatica
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and anomalies, and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience solving large-scale data-related issues, implementing new governance processes, and managing data integration/ETL challenges
