The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Telemetry unit. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Utilize technology, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice to coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor therapy and treatment plans, documenting patient information in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care, adhering to SCL Health's mission, vision, and values.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, certification as appropriate for the unit or service, and previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
This role requires regular attendance, ability to work nights and weekends, and manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment. The nurse must be able to lift and transfer patients, navigate crowded areas, and stand for extended periods.
