About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Motion Designer to join our in-house Brand Creative Marketing team at Peacock. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing motion graphics and animation for various digital platforms, including brand, on-platform creative, product marketing, and performance media.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and production of motion graphics and animation for various digital platforms.
  • Develop design solutions that fulfill all requirements as presented in creative and marketing briefs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and creative producers, to assign projects to motion designers based on skillset, project desire, and expertise.
  • Create 2D/3D assets, video graphics packages, social design, infographics, storyboards, toolkits, templates, and style guides.
About You

You are an experienced, ambitious, and passionate design creative who will inspire, direct, and collaborate on big, bold, culturally potent, innovative creative work that will breakthrough industry creative. You have a deep understanding of motion design and how to engage with and reach consumers. You are entertainment and pop-culture obsessed, a master of understanding how entertainment and content can connect with audiences on a personal, deeper, emotional level.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of motion design experience, 4+ years of leading complex projects across brand, DTC/streaming products, performance media, or growth marketing-driven teams (in-house or studio/agency).
  • Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Deep knowledge of motion graphic templates and workflows.
  • Exceptional typography, design, and color theory knowledge.
  • Highly organized with the ability to comprehend and execute instructions thoroughly and precisely.
  • Awareness in developing toolkits and guidelines for high-volume production.
  • Ability and desire to flex high & low to inform strategic decisions as well as execute detailed hands-on work.
  • Outstanding time management capabilities, with the capacity to work independently and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Flexibility to work on a changing schedule, including quick-turn or last-minute assignments.
  • Experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design/motion design preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with renowned brands and managing brand-centric projects.
  • Experience leading a team of motion designers and other creative thought leaders.
  • Candidates are requested to provide a link to an updated portfolio to showcase their abilities.
  • References may be requested.
  • C4D experience is a plus.
