Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Exercise Physiologist I to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare. As a key member of our cardiovascular rehabilitation program, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to patients recovering from heart-related conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan preventative and rehabilitative healthcare for patients
  • Provide patient care by observing and assessing patient conditions, performing interventions, and educating patients and their families
  • Develop exercise prescriptions consistent with patient assessments and medical plans
  • Implement care plans, reassess patient responses, and modify exercise prescriptions as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members and family spokespersons about patient changes and progress
  • Educate patients and family members about treatments, targets, and continuing care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • Less than 1 year of experience in clinical exercise physiology or related field
  • ACLS and BLS certifications within 30 days of hire/transfer

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
