We are currently seeking a committed Healthcare Support Specialist or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to enhance our Health and Wellness Center, focusing on the well-being of our employees and their families.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate for the Healthcare Support Specialist/LPN role is a proactive healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and achieving favorable patient outcomes through tailored interactions.

This position provides a unique opportunity to thrive in an environment where patient engagement and successful results are paramount.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and document vital signs, including weight, height, and blood pressure
  • Ensure precise and timely entries in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Assist medical personnel during patient assessments
  • Maintain medical supplies, equipment, and instruments
  • Provide patients with essential instructions
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to regulations
  • Participate in professional development initiatives
  • Support preventive healthcare programs
  • Manage front office responsibilities
  • Conduct routine screening tests
  • Collect blood samples and administer medications
  • Assist with referrals and basic first aid procedures
  • Undertake additional assigned responsibilities
Qualifications

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program
Experience
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant or LPN
  • Proficient in phlebotomy and laboratory procedures
  • Experience in primary care settings
  • Previous work in a medical facility is preferred
Certifications
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification is required, or must be obtained within 60 days of employment
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong dedication to preventive healthcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Proven commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous
