Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our clients in Center Rutland, Vermont.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to provide personalized care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, client education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Work collaboratively with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to our clients and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with our team, clients, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont.
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or two years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant with a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam.
  • At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
