Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Associate Attorney to enhance our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, taking ownership of cases and making strategic decisions throughout the litigation process. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse caseload and ensuring timely progress.
  • Collaborating with experienced attorneys to develop case strategies.

  • Engaging in all aspects of litigation, from initial client meetings to trial preparation.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Admission to practice law in California.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of relevant experience, particularly in business and real estate litigation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A demonstrated track record of case ownership and successful resolutions.
  • A proactive mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a revenue-sharing bonus structure after six months of employment. Compensation is based on experience, ranging from $120,000 to $150,000. Additional benefits include paid vacation, health insurance, and participation in our 401K matching plan. This full-time position is based in our new office.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation (85%):

  • Client intake and initial consultations.
  • Drafting demand letters and pre-litigation correspondence.
  • Managing case files and adhering to deadlines.
  • Developing case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Communicating with clients regarding case updates.
  • Participating in mediations and hearings.

Research and Writing:

  • Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda and briefs.
  • Staying informed on relevant laws and regulations.

Trial Preparation:

  • Assisting in trial preparation and strategy development.
  • Participating in trial proceedings and witness examination.

Marketing and Business Development (15%):

  • Engaging in business development activities as part of career growth.
  • Contributing articles and blog posts to enhance the firm's visibility.
