Senior History Instructor

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching history to students in a secondary school setting, creating engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. As a Senior History Instructor, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement curriculum, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the growth and development of our educational institution.

• Create and implement effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Develop and assess student progress through regular evaluations and assessments
• Mentor and support junior staff members in their professional development
• Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional programs
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic excellence and social responsibility

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in History or a related field and hold valid Alabama teacher certification for secondary level and/or specialized area. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
