About the Role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join their team in Newport, Oregon. As a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and exceeding our clients' expectations.

Job Summary

We are currently offering a 13-week contract for a Radiologic Technologist with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining imaging equipment, assisting and positioning patients, and ensuring safety protocols are followed when working with radiation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various types of medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and MRI scanners.
  • Assist patients in preparing for imaging procedures, positioning them correctly to ensure accurate results.
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following established protocols and guidelines for handling radioactive materials and equipment.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited program in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting, with a proven track record of providing excellent patient care.
  • A current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
