Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Art Appreciation/Art History courses at Lee College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach freshman and sophomore-level Art Appreciation/Art History courses, utilizing engaging instructional methods to promote student learning.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with college standards, incorporating technology to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate student records, submitting required reports to the Admissions & Records Office in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Teach assigned classes, adhering to approved syllabi and instructional materials.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements

Qualified candidates must hold a Master's degree in the teaching field or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.

Preferred qualifications include prior online teaching experience and certification, as well as experience with the Blackboard Learning Management System.
