Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Evening Room Attendant is to maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest accommodations to uphold the high standards of 100 Ocean.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and all surfaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
  2. Follow established cleaning protocols and guidelines for the use of cleaning products.
  3. Strip beds and replace linens, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  4. Dust and polish all furniture, artwork, and fixtures, ensuring a pristine environment.
  5. Vacuum carpets and floors throughout the room and dispose of waste properly.
  6. Restock guest room supplies, including toiletries and linens, to ensure guest satisfaction.
  7. Sign for and manage room keys, transporting them to designated areas and ensuring proper inventory.
  8. Conduct visual inspections of rooms to confirm cleanliness and readiness for guests.
  9. Adhere to attendance policies and maintain a flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills and Attributes

The ideal candidate will possess a self-motivated attitude with a calm demeanor. A professional appearance and demeanor are essential at all times. Strong communication skills with guests and team members are required. A willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to a collaborative work environment is crucial. Familiarity with cleaning agents and equipment operation is necessary, along with the physical ability to manage equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. The ability to perform cleaning tasks in various positions and confined spaces is also required.
