Brown & Root Industrial Services Evonik Road Maintenance Technician

As a Carpenter at Brown & Root, you will be responsible for constructing, fabricating, installing, and dismantling formwork of fixtures made of metal, wood, and other materials. Your tasks will include building wooden structures such as stairs, concrete forms, scaffolds, tunnel and sewer supports, and temporary frame shelters.

You will also be required to measure boards, timbers, or plywood using a square, measuring tape, and ruler, and mark cutting lines on materials using a pencil and scriber. Additionally, you will use carpentry hand tools such as hammers, levels, squares, screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, hand and power saws, drill motors, and pry bars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and install formwork of fixtures made of metal, wood, and other materials
• Build wooden structures such as stairs, concrete forms, scaffolds, tunnel and sewer supports, and temporary frame shelters
• Measure and mark materials for cutting
• Use carpentry hand tools for various tasks
