Overview
Texas Oncology is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Oncology Clinic Nurse to join our team. This is a full-time position that will support our Cypress, Texas location.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology, and a strong background in patient care and management. As a Senior Oncology Clinic Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Manage patient medication refill requests and coordinate consultations and appointments
- Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education
- Minimum five years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state
- Current CPR certification
