FSQA Technician

Ajinomoto Foods North America is seeking a highly skilled FSQA Technician to join our team in the Portland area. As a key member of our food safety and quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our plant meets the highest standards of food safety and quality.

• Verify conformance to FSQA and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements in daily production operations.
• Inspect and investigate to ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed, and sanitary conditions prevail.
• Verify that the HACCP plan is being followed, and take control action when necessary.
• Conduct plant testing as required, including testing machinery and equipment, temperature and process controls, and new products.
• Audit facility product weight control program as required.
• Assist in root cause analysis of problems and recommend solutions and preventive measures.

• Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university, or at least two years related experience and/or training.
• Meaningful education and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Fluency in English (Written and Verbal) – required.
