As a Registered Mental Health Nurse at Allina Health, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care to individuals with mental health needs.

You will work in our 10-bed locked Mental Health unit, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role

This part-time benefit eligible position offers an estimated annual salary of $60,000 - $80,000 based on experience, education, and location.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for care coordination.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and coping strategies.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota or eligibility for temporary licensure.
  • Certifications: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing, mental health experience, and certifications such as CARN, RN-BC Mental Health, or RN-BC Gerontology.
