Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT.

Job Summary

The Journeyman Registered Ultrasonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonograms, providing quality patient care, and assuming responsibility for all ultrasound services offered. This role will work closely with patients, coworkers, lead sonographer, manager, Radiologists, providers, and other clinic/hospital staff to ensure the highest quality of care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic medical sonograms, both general and vascular
  • Provide quality patient care and assume responsibility for all ultrasound services offered
  • Work closely with patients, coworkers, lead sonographer, manager, Radiologists, providers, and other clinic/hospital staff
  • Assist the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Coursework/Training and Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) Or equivalent educ/experience
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or National Registered Technologist - Sonography Or National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
