We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehab team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care to individuals requiring rehabilitative and therapeutic services in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide age-specific rehab assessments and develop individualized patient care plans.
- Coordinate therapy schedules according to patient needs and care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient clinical conditions and diagnostic study results.
- Implement appropriate skin care to maintain skin integrity.
- Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
- Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse License.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and certification.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- One year of Rehab or Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Build rapport with patients with various diagnoses, including Trauma, Stroke, Cardiac, and Orthopedic.
- Experience the reward of seeing patients progress and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
