Probation Case Specialist

The State of Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Probation Case Specialist to join our team at the Barnstable Juvenile Court. As a Probation Case Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Probation Office in providing services to the community, ensuring public safety, and promoting rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to Probation Officers and other staff members in the Probation Office.
- Assist with case processing, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
- Respond to inquiries from the public, attorneys, and other stakeholders regarding probation-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain reports, documents, and other materials as required.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Probation Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or law enforcement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
The Probation Case Specialist will work in a office environment and may be required to travel to other locations as needed. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
