Shift: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Position Overview:
Under the general oversight of the Project Manager and direct supervision of the on-site supervisor, this role involves delivering a range of cleaning and maintenance services across public and workspace areas. Secondary supervision will be provided by the Contracts Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Agency policies and procedures while following contract specifications.
- Maintain compliance with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standards.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect all assigned areas as per contract specifications.
- Ensure restrooms and public areas are stocked with necessary paper products and soap.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including glass and mirror cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Dust and polish various surfaces, including furniture and metal fixtures.
- Clean kitchenettes, break rooms, fitness centers, and childcare areas as required.
- Maintain cleanliness in building exteriors, garages, and janitor closets.
- Assist with special restoration work and move heavy items as needed.
- Attend work regularly and report on time, participating in required meetings and training sessions.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, navigate stairs, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. as necessary. Must be capable of working in dusty environments and adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Six months of custodial experience is preferred, along with custodial training. Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
