Position Overview
The Maintenance Service Representative plays a critical role in supporting Maintenance and Repair (M&R) operations for deployed systems and equipment. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including Service Management teams, Program Office members, and field personnel, to gather and disseminate essential information regarding repair statuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the MDC and Service Management teams, providing expert guidance on follow-up and research matters.
- Engage directly with Service Management team members to fulfill requests for information, conduct research, and offer recommendations related to the life-cycle support of inspection technologies.
- Conduct ad-hoc research on MAXIMO records and other life-cycle data pertinent to inspection technologies.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the communication of repair information.
- Facilitate communication with Service Management team members and field personnel to respond to inquiries regarding status updates and data within MAXIMO.
- Update and maintain records in MAXIMO as necessary.
- Participate in meetings with Service Management teams to provide subject matter expertise when required.
- Provide status updates for completed Work Orders lacking proper documentation and liaise with vendors to obtain necessary documentation.
- Support MSR training as needed during periods of low staffing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required; an Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a CBP Background Investigation is required for this role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Capacity to learn quickly, with a focus on fielded equipment and relevant work protocols.
- Adept at identifying problems and recognizing failure trends.
- Experience with Maximo is advantageous.
- Logistics support experience is a plus.
- Extensive background in customer service or help desk roles is desired.
- Familiarity with Non-Intrusion Inspection equipment is beneficial.
