Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Manage the preparation and submission of incurred cost proposals in compliance with DCAA requirements, and coordinate and support DCAA audits and reviews.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and government regulations, and provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and mentor finance/accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Knowledge and Compliance: Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to government contracting and financial management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: At least seven (7) years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of government contracting regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and DCAA requirements, and proficiency in financial management software, preferably UNANET or similar systems.
