We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at TransForce. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair complex diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of our vehicles.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless operations and efficient use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to continuously improve our maintenance processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Class-A CDL license and DOT certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or a combination of both.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
