As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing X-Rays on patients, verifying the X-Ray machine's operation, and preparing X-Rays for the Radiologist to read. You will also maintain a clean work area, order supplies as needed, and complete assigned duties efficiently and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-Rays on patients
- Verify and validate the X-Ray machine's operation
- Prepare X-Rays for the Radiologist to read
- Maintain a clean work area and order supplies as needed
- Complete assigned duties efficiently and in a timely manner
Requirements
- Ability to perform skillfully and effectively the duties of X-Ray Technician
- Work effectively with individuals and follow oral and written directions
- Mature judgment, tact, discretion, and confidentiality are mandatory
- Requires a professional, pleasant, and effective representation of the corporation
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California driver's license
- Must submit to and pass a drug test and a criminal background check as a pre-condition for employment
- Must be able to provide proof of vaccinations for COVID-19 with Booster, MMR, TDAP, and Hepatitis B
- Must be able to provide recent TB/Chest x-ray test
- BLS/CPR certification required
Qualifications
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Valid California limited X-ray Technician License with one (1) year experience
- Medical Assistant certificate preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not mandatory
