Usher Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Usher Operations Supervisor to join our team at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the Hawaiian Journey Theater and the HA: The Breath of Life Show.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise daily manpower needs to maintain high levels of efficiency.
• Train employees on safety concerns, guest service, script memorization, and protocol.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure the guest experience exceeds expectations.
• Open the Hawaiian Journey Theater venue and oversee ushers on behalf of the Manager.
• Create and manage weekly schedules for employees, including managing employee hours and timesheets.

Requirements:

• Two years of customer service experience.
• Knowledgeable of theatrical etiquette and protocol.
• Able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Strong interpersonal, managerial, and leadership skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
• Speak, read, and write in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Work Schedule: To Be Determined (19 hours per week). All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.
