Special Education Teacher Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our exceptional team of educators at Soliant. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of inclusive education practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide specialized instruction, support, and advocacy to students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and personal growth. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, adapting and modifying curriculum materials, and employing various instructional strategies to facilitate student engagement and success.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Oregon teaching certification or licensure for Special Education.
  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Understanding of individualized instruction, behavior management techniques, and evidence-based interventions.
