Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Billings, MT. This position is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is looking to explore the beautiful state of Montana.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the operating room and ensure all surgical equipment is sterile and functioning properly.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, controlling bleeding, and monitoring patient vitals.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care, including patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient procedure.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
- Active RN license in Montana or compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures, instruments, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
