Key Responsibilities:- Installation of Pre-Configured Telecommunications Equipment (routers, switches, phones):
- Demonstrated experience in configuring routers, switches, and VoIP phones.
- Share your expertise in setting up these devices.
- Experience in troubleshooting pre-configured equipment.
- Familiarity with configuring VLANs, access ports, and trunk ports.
- Proficient in assigning IP addresses.
- Ability to Reconfigure and Adjust Equipment as Necessary
- Strong Communication Skills and Proven Reliability
As a Telecommunications Equipment Specialist, your primary duties will include the installation, testing, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, along with managing related databases. You will also participate in network design and implementation activities. The essential functions of this role encompass:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Install and maintain voice and data equipment at client locations.
- Oversee the equipment utilized in the telecommunications network.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure network reliability.
- Assist clients in resolving issues with a proactive approach to prevent service interruptions.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and partners to test new products and maintain the existing network.
- Manage the corporate IP phone network.
