Job Summary

New Hope Services is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employment Consultant to join our team. As an Employment Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their employment goals and become self-sufficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel within the community to provide job development, assessment, placement, training, and fading services to clients on job sites.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to create a Discovery profile, including participants' abilities, capabilities, and needs.
  • Provide training and arrange practice opportunities for clients in various employment settings.
  • Collaborate with employers and participants to ensure good work performance and understanding of tasks.
  • Assist clients in establishing community connections and making referrals to community agencies.
  • Develop natural supports in the community for clients, particularly those related to the community worksite.
  • Consult with families and participants to maintain good communication and identify progress.
  • Consult with employers to check on job performance and coordinate referrals when needed.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly follow-up communications with employers and participants to ensure mutual interests are being served.
  • Maintain client files with current documentation and have access to the internet for communication and documentation submission.
