Procurement Specialist

Purchasing agents play a vital role in ensuring the profitability of business contracts by purchasing the most cost-effective materials for each job.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities include:

• Full Cycle Purchase Order issuing – within the office and the Field
• Purchasing: Buying materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
• Reviewing: Reviewing plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure the correct items are purchased
• Collaborating: Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintaining relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Researching: Attending trade shows to research current product and service information
• Resolving disputes: Researching and resolving vendor disputes, including product or pricing issues
• Communicating: Communicating product changes to sales, construction, and subcontractors

This candidate would work closely with our Field Employees as well as our Project Managers.
