As an Anesthetist with Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating anesthesia services for patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures.

• Formulate anesthetic plans with anesthesiologists and discuss risks, benefits, and options with patients.
• Prepare for anesthetic administration and implementation of plans.
• Perform special line placement procedures, including intravenous and arterial line insertion.
• Document pre-anesthesia assessments, intraoperative anesthesia care, and charges, quality indicators, and controlled substance disbursement use and waste.
• Maintain age-specific competence in anesthesia technical skills and stay up-to-date with new knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology, modalities, techniques, and technology.

• Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia or CRNA with a graduate degree from an accredited program.
• SC RN- Advance Practice and CRNA- Nurse Anesthetist certifications.
• Mathematical skills and ability to work with patient equipment, including vitals, suction, and defibrillators.
