Job Summary:

The Musical Choreographer will be responsible for instructing and overseeing all choreographing rehearsals and instruction during musical rehearsals, preparations, and performances. This role requires collaboration with the Musical Director on design and execution decisions as a member of the musical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement choreography for musical performances
  • Lead rehearsals and provide instruction to dancers
  • Collaborate with the Musical Director on creative decisions
  • Ensure consistency and quality in choreography and performances

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED is required. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in choreographing or a related field, with extensive knowledge of skill development and excellent interpersonal skills. Leadership and community involvement are highly valued. The candidate must recognize that activities in Owatonna are a continuation of the educational process and instruct accordingly. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Pay Rate:

$1500 / Per Schedule C of the OEA Contract
