As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, providing leadership to a group of staff, and delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Ambulatory Pain Clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of patient care.
- Provide leadership to a team of Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, and other support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Assist the supervisor with audits, charges, ordering, and other administrative tasks.
- Perform leadership functions approximately 30% of the time and duties of a Registered Nurse Critical Procedure the remaining 70%.
- Utilize the nursing process to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicate with the healthcare team, demonstrating clinical competence and supervising other nursing and support staff as needed.
- Graduate from a school of nursing and current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard of care, i.e., Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
- Current BLS/ACLS certificate.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
- Two to three years of nursing experience in a clinical environment.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
