Job Title: In-Home Counselor

Join Youth Villages as an In-Home Counselor and make a positive impact on the lives of at-risk youth and their families. As a member of our team, you will work closely with families to provide intensive, in-home therapy and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry a caseload of 4-6 families and provide individual therapeutic treatment interventions
  • Meet with families a minimum of 3 times per week to assess their needs and provide ongoing support
  • Collaborate with other community members to ensure the success of the youth
  • Attend weekly meetings for professional development and to enhance clinical skills
  • Provide on-call crisis support to clients Monday through Friday, 24 hours a day
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline with experience working with at-risk youth, adults, or families
  • Master's degree in a social services discipline preferred
  • At least 6 months of related experience in counseling and/or case management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
