Diagnostic Sonographer

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing high-quality images for interpretation.

• Perform routine and complex studies, and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
• Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
• Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Submit all high-quality images and documents to PACS, ensuring accurate labeling and patient data/history.
• Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and other areas.
• Comply with regulatory agencies and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

• Completion of a Sonography certification program.
• Credentialled in 2 different areas of sonography.
