Job Summary:

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse position is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care by:

  • Utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and prioritize care.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Acting as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Administering medications in a safe and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment, analyzes assessment data, and creates a plan of care.
  • Serves as a point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments.
  • Participates in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensures a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent experience.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
