Hematology Oncology Inpatient Float Advanced Practice Provider I/II

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Hematology Oncology Inpatient team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and contributing to the development of our inpatient services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical work-ups of inpatients and outpatients, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide postoperative care and follow-up.
- Participate in providing medical/surgical services on patient divisions as requested.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
Requirements:
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA).
- Master's or higher-level degree in Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a cancer care or acute care facility recognized as comparable by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
