Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain competencies in multiple skill sets, including radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Operate advanced digital and computed radiographic equipment, including portable and fluoroscopic units.
  • Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures, including advanced exams such as GI procedures and mini-special exams.
  • Participate in process or quality improvement projects, including throughput and ED turnaround time initiatives.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as specified by a physician.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
  • Certificate or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Previous experience as a radiographer or 1 year experience at ALGH as a radiographer.
  • Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • ARRT Registered or registry eligible IDNS Licensed.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and emergency call-backs.
  • May be exposed to radiation during procedures.
  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time or lift and move patients.
