Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Painter II to join our team at Kohler Energy. As a key member of our painting operations, you will be responsible for setting up and using various painting equipment to meet our high standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate painting equipment to achieve high-quality results
- Use multiple tools to stage and prep materials for washing, ensuring compliance with general requirements
- Wash tanks using a spray gun to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
- Operate a forklift to move materials through the facility
- Perform daily preparation of the painting area, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, and conducting daily PMs
- Basic troubleshooting of spray guns to ensure optimal performance
- Carry out all required safety functions and maintain a safe working environment
- Measure, understand, act on, and report quality and operations information
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of painting experience preferred
- Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
- Effective communication skills between shifts and with supervisors
- Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
- Ability to drive a forklift and operate overhead cranes
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be at least 18 years old
