Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Painter II to join our team at Kohler Energy. As a key member of our painting operations, you will be responsible for setting up and using various painting equipment to meet our high standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate painting equipment to achieve high-quality results
  • Use multiple tools to stage and prep materials for washing, ensuring compliance with general requirements
  • Wash tanks using a spray gun to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
  • Operate a forklift to move materials through the facility
  • Perform daily preparation of the painting area, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, and conducting daily PMs
  • Basic troubleshooting of spray guns to ensure optimal performance
  • Carry out all required safety functions and maintain a safe working environment
  • Measure, understand, act on, and report quality and operations information
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of painting experience preferred
  • Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills between shifts and with supervisors
  • Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
  • Ability to drive a forklift and operate overhead cranes
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be at least 18 years old
