Your responsibilities as an Automotive Service Technician will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to create loyal clients
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicles according to specifications, which may involve brake systems, exhaust systems, fuel ignition, electrical systems, suspension, alignment, and air conditioning
  • Reducing customer complaints by providing thorough and efficient repair services
  • Working independently while also collaborating effectively with team members
  • Ensuring that all shop equipment is maintained in optimal condition and complies with safety and environmental standards
  • Clearly communicating technical diagnoses and necessary services to both colleagues and customers in a friendly manner
  • Continuously updating your technical knowledge and skills through formal training sessions to keep pace with evolving automotive technology
  • Keeping management informed of any mechanical repair issues as they arise
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Safely operating equipment and customer vehicles
  • Fostering strong communication among team members and support departments
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Complying with legal regulations, including OSHA requirements
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications to apply:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is necessary
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle repairs is preferred
  • A positive attitude and the ability to connect well with team members and customers
  • Experience in passenger and light truck maintenance, oil changes, tire repairs, and minor automotive repairs is essential
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items weighing at least 50 lbs, as well as bending, standing, and other physical activities
