We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Supervisor to join our team at UnityPoint Health in Grinnell, IA.
Job SummaryThis role is responsible for overseeing patient care in the hospice setting, providing leadership and supervision to interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to staff members, focusing on problem-solving, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
- Assess and educate staff on job performance, ensuring competency meets or exceeds agency benchmarks.
- Enforce compliance and quality standards based on feedback from quality specialists, patient care supervisors, and clinical leadership staff.
- Approve coverage for staff absences and maintain staffing needs to ensure safe patient care and quality standards.
- Address patient/caregiver complaints, events, or safety concerns.
- Graduate of a State Board-approved program for Registered Nurses or a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
- Hospice case management or equivalent experience.
- Preferrably a BSN or MSW.
- Ability to lead a group of health care home health and hospice teams.
