Responsibilities- Provides direct and indirect patient care services, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Mississippi Board of Nursing or Compact State Licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Preferred but not required: experience in a healthcare setting.
- IV Certification required in Specialty Areas.
- Ability to speak effectively and professionally to staff, management and outside individuals.
- Mathematical skills to calculate medications, IV drip rates and medication dosages.
Able to sit, stand, talk, hear alarms, use hands and fingers to feel and touch, push, pull, crouch or crawl, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, taste and smell. May be required to exert up to 50-lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20-lbs frequently, and/or up to 10-lbs constantly.
