Tact Staff is actively seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Operating Room for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.
Position Overview & Requirements- Specialty: Operating Room

- Shift: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
Job Responsibilities: As a travel nurse, you will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. This includes direct patient care, patient and family education, and managing transitions of care in an acute care environment. You will provide holistic and individualized care to all patients within your assigned area. Your role will involve developing, implementing, and coordinating a care plan that considers psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
You will also be expected to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals through effective communication.
Qualifications:- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Valid RN Licensure
- ACLS certification
- Experience in Orthopedics, Vascular, Endo Vascular, or Robotic Surgery is preferred (minimum of 2 years required)
- CNOR Certification is required; current CNOR experience is preferred
Shift details include a 5 x 8 hour schedule with variable shifts and weekend rotations. There is no on-call requirement, but you may occasionally float to outpatient surgery.
