MV Transportation is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to prevent vehicle breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicle systems, including steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Inventory Control: Assist in managing inventory and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Documentation: Accurately document all activities and repairs in MV's Fleet Management System.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Combination of at least two to three years of apprentice-level training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work safely, and excellent communication skills.
- Competitive Pay: $38.43/hour.
